A trip to Wat Pho, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha is a memorable experience. Wat Pho, or Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhlaram Ratchaworamahawihan, is the largest and oldest Buddhist Temple in Thailand with more than 1,000 Buddha images. The Reclining Buddha, at 46 meters long and 15 meters high, is the largest Buddha image. He is covered in gold plating and has eyes and feet of mother-of-pearl. The feet also display 108 scenes in Chinese and Indian styles.
